Two Philadelphia police officers were shot overnight in the Northeast. Our deepest prayers are with the officers and their families. Our deepest thanks are with every officer and first responder who put their lives on the line each day to protect us.

Police say the officer, who was grazed in the head by a bullet, has been on the force for six years. This is the second time he has been shot in the head while on duty, according to officials.
