SkillUp's timely quote "It feels like HR is in the room" couldn't be more apt to describe almost every fundemental element of this game. Its not bad enough to be offensive or enraging, nor is it innovative or unique enough to push the genre and Obsidian's name forward. 6/10

A trimmed down and space-deprived runtime often makes us feel like observers of the Fantastic Four rather than participants. But a quartet of central performances, retro-futuristic aesthetics, tighter VFX and a brisk pace keep the ride on the Fantasticar a fun one. 7/10

Before Old Country drops, I got Mafia III out of the way recently. Bringing the series to 60s Louisiana was the right move and I found compelling spirits in Clay and Donovan, but you can only copy/paste the same missions so many times before the open world illusion falls apart.
