Our Evening at DSO event tonight, Saturday, May 24, is ON! The skies should clear enough to observe at least some brighter objects. Ticket holders should arrive between 8:00 and 8:30. The jog across the Parkway is open although closed beyond it in each direction.

On Thursday, the 13th, we will open up for the late total lunar eclipse by 11:30pm. This eclipse event will be free, unticketed, drop-in. The Moon enters the darkest part of the shadow a little after 1 am and totality begins at 2:30. See for details.

The weather may be good enough to have our event but we had a problem develop when trying to observe remotely last night--the mirror doors would not open. We are going to try to open them manually today and will email whether that worked, and whether the event is still on.
