Iceland - Luxury - 9.25/10 What a MP. Soft buttery pastry, generous filling with a nice boozy & citrus kick - it just beats out Tesco finest as the pastry is softer & the filling has more citrus coming through. The new 👑 #MincePieReview

Sainsbury’s - TTD - 4/10 Poor effort from the JS gang. I wouldn’t have guessed this is a “luxury” range MP. Filling is ok, pastry is poor. Expiry date is Jan 2022 (versus 3/12 from Tesco), this is not a fresh pie. Huge upset here for JS. #MincePieReview

ASDA - Extra Special - 7.25/10 A decent pie but for a posh range it should be. The filling is flavourful but not particularly boozy. Pastry is passable but doesn’t excite. Still a way off the Tesco finest MP. #MincePieReview

ASDA - Irish Cream Liqueur Mince Pie - 7.5/10 These are nice, but not a proper mince pie IMO. Worth a try as an “alternative” MP. The buttercream takes over flavour wise - however it is nice & they’re not shy with it. #MincePieReview
