Vinnie Cugini had an OK freshman season, I guess. Led the WPIAL in scoring with 34+ a game. Was named all-state. Word is the Aquinas Academy star could be even better this season. @CuginiVinnie @AquinasAcademy_ #WPIAL

Aquinas Academy won its first ever WPIAL section game tonight, defeating St. Joseph, 76-73. Previously 0-66 in such games. Star freshman Vinnie Cugini 35 points.

Just for context @colin_dunlap 791 pitchers have pitched in the big leagues this season. Add in minor leagues, I’m guessing a few thousand. 32 kicker spots in the NFL. Point being, more space for sideshows in baseball.
Maybe if you did that, they would— up for them to decide who gets tryouts, not me. A man threw very fast at a Fast Pitch contest at a ballpark, put it on social media and got a tryout.
