My GOAT vampire film, and, to me, a near perfect film. Except for one scene. IYKYK (hint: meow).
βLet the Right One Inβ was released #OTD in 2008. If you were to ask me what I think is the best vampire movie of this century thus far, itβs THIS one. In fact, I would also list it among my top 5 horror movies this century as well. A masterpiece in my mind.

It's the best Carpenter film not directed by Carpenter. My biggest complaint is the pace. The movie never gets out of first gear. This is especially obvious from when Halloween '78 appears on TV to the end; everything proceeds leisurely until the end.

In 1978, Don Rickles accidentally broke Johnny Carson's cigarette box while Carson was on vacation. When Carson came back, he walked over and interrupted Don Rickles taping his sitcom to get revenge. Easily one of the best late night moments ever π₯
