TRON: ARES has slick visuals and a pulsating, kinetic NIN score but that’s all it has going for it. The script is both overwrought and underwhelming, with halfhearted attempts at emotional resonance that fall flat. It doesn’t have nearly the same vibes as its predecessors.

I'm late to the party, but I'm still thinking about ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER. It doesn’t attempt to solve topics that cannot be solved, but it encourages its audience to acknowledge our history in a way that genuinely represents and reflects our present. Grateful this exists.

kinda really think timothée chalamet should have won an oscar for this. the way he builds momentum from part one to part two as paul subtly becomes something much more sinister right before our eyes. can’t wait for messiah

I get why people are clowning on this but I actually think it's important Warner Brothers and Zaslav are taking risks on pricey projects by major filmmakers in the hope they find a big audience. it's what we said we wanted for a decade, it's worth celebrating while it lasts.
