I do get the hype and have had some incredible live viewings. I agree that he'll be a top player in his draft. Still, I think planting flags this early is a bit hyperbolic. A lot can happen over a season.

His activity rate and overall engagement are exceptionally high, but that also means a fair amount of inefficiency --lacks a plan. Details are the next step in the NCAA -- getting in motion, leveraging his frame, etc. Decision making will improve, like it has for similar profiles.

Verhoeff is undoubtedly a top prospect considering his size and the upside of his tools. Nevertheless, this is a relatively raw and chaotic player who has some mechanical hurdles to overcome.

Chase Stillman is a 22-year old winger. A former first-round pick in 2021. Motor, physicality, and engagement are his game. Good skater — some explosiveness. Forechecking value. Brother of former-Canuck Riley Stillman. Fits a lot of what Abby does on forward.

Zachary Morin is heading to the #Canucks development camp per his QMJHL club. Morin is a 6-foot-2 wing we ranked 105th. There was hype before the season that he'd be a pick, but he had a down year. He's a low-paced creator, but his tools are pretty strong.
