I'm letting life hit me until it gets tired. Then I'll hit back. It's a classic rope-a-dope.

Alright, I'm done here now. So long and thanks for all the fish.

They did it in season 1 because it fit into the narrative, but this feels forced, season 2 should be about this story, not an old one.

OK, so they're going to do some big Clone Wars flashback. Awesome. But why not just make a live action Clone Wars show? People would watch that, and let Ahsoka tell its own story, let it move forward

"Sublime eternal love is a possibility for human beings, and every human being should know that – it exists within each one of us." Happy birthday, David Lynch. We love you. ☕ ❤️🔥🥧🌲✨🌹

A friend said he was bummed that Kyle MacLachlan never quite had the leading man career he seemed on track for, but discussing the matter further we agreed that getting to say you were David Lynch's Jimmy Stewart is a career achievement almost any actor would kill for.

There's a new Star Trek film out this week. Starring an Oscar winner in the lead. Admittedly, it's straight to streaming but there's been zero promotion for it that I've seen, no buzz whatsoever.

I've gone over a decade without a new GTA. If this happened, or anything close to it, I'm pretty sure I could get by without it.
A video game industry analyst has said that there is “hope,” in the games industry that GTA 6 could cost up to $100 so that other companies could raise their default prices as well. https://t.co/0s2cXc03EB

I remember being confused when this wasn't well received. I kinda get Babylon being divisive, it's three hours long and goes out of its way to provoke, but First Man doesn't. Maybe it was too somber? And calm. Which I thought was to its credit.

You want to learn something about Bob Dylan? Listen to his music. Pour yourself a drink, put on Blood on the Tracks, listen to that album the whole through. My ★★★ review of A Complete Unknown on Letterboxd
letterboxd.com
This might be the most aggressively "fine" biopic ever made, it's saved by good performances and the fact the music is still fucking superb more than 6 decades later. The biggest problem here is…

Maybe, after his passing, we all need to accept the greatest truth of all; David Lynch made the best version of Dune.

Personally, I've never used TikTok much, it always felt like most moronic of all the current social medias for a variety of reasons. But banning it like that, for blatantly underhanded reasons, sets a bad precedent, and we shouldn't champion that at all.

That was not very good. At all. My ★★ review of Wolf Man on Letterboxd
letterboxd.com
Oh dear. That wasn't very good at all. Chocked full of references to better films, notably at least two from the Jurassic Park franchise, and even one from a much better Whannell film, this is a…
