After 2+ years of publication, Kagurabachi has finally reached 100 Chapters, and I couldn't be happier. From the breathtaking artwork, panelling, and action, to the great character writing, Hokazono has created something truly special, and I know that it will only keep improving.

Really good casting, Bon-Chan too (good they got a Non-binary actor). Personally I loved Season 1 of the live-action and the fact that it's taking so long to make Season 2 and 3 shows me that they are putting a lot of care into this. Hopefully the show lasts for years to come.

Finished Marineford. While it isn't my favourite arc, it is no doubt top 3. It paid off so many plot points with such precision and gave me so many amazing and emotional moments. I cared way more about Ace than expected (screw Akainu), and of course RIP GOATbeard. Easy 10/10.

Just saw the Chainsaw Man movie and it was magnificent. As an Anime Only I had no clue what to expect, and I was greeted with some of the best animation I've ever seen, and some of the most tearjerking moments too. I'll definitely be reading the Manga now. 10/10, a work of art.

Finished Impel Down 3 days ago. While a bit slow at points, I really enjoyed it overall. Exploring each level of the prison itself was a blast, as was the return of older characters like Buggy and Croc, and the intros of some cool new ones like Iva and Jinbe. 9/10, RIP Bon-Chan.

Today is the 30th Anniversary of Neon Genesis Evangelion, my favourite piece of media ever. There's nothing quite like it anywhere else, it is so personal and intimate that it truly speaks to the soul. That is the reason it is one of the most important works of art ever created.

Finished Amazon Lily. I honestly wasn't expecting to enjoy this arc as much as I did. Seeing Luffy without his crew to bounce off of really highlighted his character in a way we don't see often, and the way Oda expands upon the horror of the Celestial Dragons is immaculate. 9/10.

It has now been 2 years since Kagurabachi began and it's very clear nobody knew how great this series would become back then. With each Chapter the story ramps up, the artwork is gorgeous, and the writing is solid. It is an all-around incredible story and I hope for more to come.

Looks like the Yomi no Tsugai Anime is releasing in 2026. That's much earlier than I expected but I'm very happy this great Manga is finally being adapted. I hope it reaches the same level of hype as FMA because Arakawa is a great writer even outside of her iconic magnum opus.

I recently watched "Requiem for a Dream", a film infamous for being incredibly bleak and depressing and...it wasn't for me. Mainly, I found the writing to be quite juvenile and pretentious, relying more on shock value to give the illusion of depth than actual substance. 5/10.

Hey guys, I know I've been gone awhile due to being busy but I finished the Sabaody arc of One Piece during my absence. This was a true game-changer, introducing so many new characters, concepts and lore. The worldbuilding here was superb and the darker themes really hit. 9/10.

I recently watched the movie "Whiplash" for the first time and I gotta say, this is one of the greatest films I've ever seen, and it's a real shame that people don't talk about it more when discussing the greats. It's an amazing drama with top-notch acting. I highly recommend it.

Finally finished Thriller Bark. This arc was so damm fun. It had a surprising amount of depth and great comedy to balance it out. Every Strawhat got a chance to shine (especially Usopp and Zoro) and the emotional beats hit HARD (Brook and Cindry). Easily a top 3 arc so far! 9/10.

Kagurabachi is so beautiful. The payoff of Samura finally opening his eyes, both literally and symbolically, to a new future where he doesn't have to die, hits so hard after all the buildup. It's so impressive for a Shonen to pull off this type of emotional climax this early on.

Y'all NEED to keep your eyes on this. As someone who is caught up to the Manga, I can confidently say that Arakawa still has the same level of writing talent she had back in her Fullmetal days. This story is completely different though, and it will be exciting to see animated.

Ok I just found out that they are making a Season 2 of Cyberpunk Edgerunners with a new standalone story, and leme just say that I'm so down for this. Season 1 was a PROPER tearjerker but I loved the worldbuilding too, so I'm hyped for some new untold stories in this world.

Ok this Chainsaw Man trailer looks crazy. I do miss the Season 1 animation style, but apparently this emulates the Manga a bit better so it's fine. I do think this current era of Anime movies relies too much on Non-Canon filler, so it's good that this is a real arc being adapted.

Due to the fact that I'm watching One Piece rn, I've decided to watch the other two Big Three shows too. I have seen Naruto and Bleach a long time ago but I've forgotten most things. I've already finished the first arc of Bleach and it's...decent ig. I'll start Naruto soon too.

I'm Halfway through Thriller Bark rn and it might already be one of my fav arcs. It's a lot of fun and so unique. Brook is an excellent addition and Moria is a surprisingly engaging villain. Oars is also hilarious. The atmosphere and humour are already making it top-tier for me.
