Team USA men's basketball is fine as is. BUT, WHAT IF they took the Celtics' '24 starters (assuming all were Americans) (these would be olympic starters and get lion's share of minutes), and filled the rest of the roster with best NBA players. Would an actual team perform better?.

The standard the USWNT set for itself are gold medals (semis at least). Let’s wait to see if this honeymoon lasts a fortnight. I enjoy watching them play like this. But sweet opening goal followed by 2 lucky goals and a garbage time goal, isn’t convincing.
