Mtb World Champs in Andorrà this week. For a family of 4 it’s 140 euro. Per Day! That’s basic no frills entrance fee. Where is all the money going @UCI_cycling as my contacts tell me it’s not the local organizers.

Whatever happened to uphill sprints in @LeTour? I’m talking those 1km long 6-7% finishes. Imagine the battle royales we would see with MVDP, Van Aert, Girmay, Pidcock, DeLie and even the GC guys getting involved. So many flat straightforward sprints this year.

Thinking back to yesterdays stage, did Vingegaard actually use a 1x chainring? If so that would explain the time loss on the pedaling section of the Galibier descent. I’m sure Pogacar had a superior gear setup/ratio.

51% of todays stage is ridden on classified climbs. 71.2km to be exact. And there are uphill sections that aren’t even included. Brutal day ahead. At least the temps are more pleasant

Super impressive how quickly Vingegaard reacted to Pogacar’s attack yesterday as for me it was a surprise where he went. Zero hesitation. To have that level of awareness shows how good his condition is.

Visma Bike Lease again bluffing. Riding ‘slow’ on the climb losing time to the break. Cost the stage yesterday. Vingo not good? We’ll find out next time up
