In 2024 a young Queens man in the middle of a schizophrenic episode was shot with a Taser by the NYPD. He later died and the department never disclosed it. The second part of our investigation:

For months, we have investigated the use of Tasers by the NYPD. We found in 2023 73 percent of people shot with a Taser during a mental health emergency were unarmed. This as Taser use has more than tripled in the last decade. Part 1 of our investigation:
