Still Australia’s greatest race. What a horse, what a performance. Thought Treasurethe Moment’s kick had really left Via flat footed, and then in the straight, J Mac lifted her like he did Romantic Warrior a few years back. Incredible race. Will be watching that over and over

As good as Clarry would have been on-field, Pies have dodged a bullet there. Simpkin would be a good fit, but no way Pies and Roos agree on trade value. Rowbottom perfect if Pies can pull it off.
