Oh SNAP! We are over the #Moon to announce we will be commissioning the first #AtomProbe facility in #Scotland thanks to generous funding from @EPSRC. The Space Nanomaterials Atom Probe (SNAP) will provide #atomic scale insights into #AdvancedMaterials.
A £5.3m grant from @EPSRC will establish @UofGlasgow as a leader in atom-by-atom analysis of materials which could support human habitations on the Moon and beyond. @Daly_Planet of @UofGGES will lead the installation of the new facility. Read more here: https://t.co/GghMzCRuW0

This paper is awesome! So cool we finally know where the #Martian Nakhlite #meteorites come from. Can the next #Mars rover go to Kotka crater please! A mission of science to test this prediction, and a misson of vengence for the #dog the #Nakhla meteorite hit... allegedly
The paper is out! https://t.co/8BHx74NtGO This has been in a folder on my computer called “Next Big Thing” since 2017. 🤓
