Culture shapes language shapes culture. Super interesting that соревнование is "competition" in russian but ревновать, the root, means to be jealous. Makes you wonder how that shapes soviet style thinking about free markets and capitalism. In English it has a positive feel.

God damn Chinese RFID readers and chinglish user manuals where their demo software coaxes the mrthfkn retarded firmware just right to do multi antenna multi tag reading but none of their documented commands work so you have to wireshark reverse engineer tf for 4 hours.
