Lessons Learned:. ✅ ERC-20 makes token creation easy 🚀.✅ Decimals & approvals matter.✅ OpenZeppelin saves a ton of time.

Fixes that i applied !.Lesson: Know your decimal places!.Solution: Users must call approve() before transferFrom().

And the 2 mistakes that i did , which you should avoid. Mistake #1: Forgetting Decimals.At first, I didn’t override decimals(), so my token had 18 decimals by default. Mistake #2: Transfer Reverted!.

For Deployment i used Hardhat and by using this command i deployed my contract on Sepolia testnet. "npx hardhat run scripts/deploy.js --network sepolia". And just like that, my token was on the Sepolia testnet!.

Writing the Token Contract.I used OpenZeppelin’s ERC-20 contract to avoid reinventing the wheel. Although i have attached the _mint() function of ERC20 to show you what goes inside this black box
