Sunshine: We had a visit from Farmer Tom this week! The children were fascinated by the bird habitats he brought in and hearing all about the owls and wildlife on his farm.

Aster: What have we found in our allotment this week? Carrots! We picked them ourselves and enjoyed them as part of our snack—it was delicious!

Aster: The children in the Pre-School Suite have been creating magical homes for the fairies in the garden, using clay and natural materials. The fairies are sure to love their new homes!

Aster: We were so lucky to have a Pre-School parent visit us last Friday to show how he cares for the trees and even how he climbs them—we were so excited!

Aster: The children in the Pre-School Suite are exploring sensory play with water and ice, using fresh mint from our vegetable patch and zesty lemons!

Sunshine: Pinecone Printing provided the Babies with lots of opportunities to learn about shape, size and texture as they got hands-on in the experience!

Sunshine: It has been a magical week of fairy-wonder as the children engaged in small-world play where imaginations ran wild and creativity blossomed!

Sunshine: The children enjoyed 'The Gruffalo' story book by Julia Donaldson as they created Gruffalo inspired clay sculptures and had fun finding the characters hidden within the 'woods'!

Sunshine: A big thank you to Charlotte, one of our lovely parents & owner of The Dance Studio Hampshire, for a fun visit today! The children had a great time joining in with all of the teddy bear themed activities.

Sunshine: Today we welcomed Justin from @PrimaryTreeSurg to share all about his work as a tree surgeon! The children loved learning about trees and the tools he uses.

Crown: The Babies have been listening to 'The Gruffalo' by Julia Donaldson this morning, before exploring a Gruffalo themed sensory tray!

Sunshine: The children created their own Mermaid Scenes using frames as their base and filling them up with sand, sparkly stones, shells and even 'mermaid hair'! This has been a great way to celebrate the children's positional schema.

Butter: Babies have been inspired by pond life this week! Looking at national and local photographs, making creative and colourful marks, and making some nature soup with local natural materials.

Butter: We have been very lucky to meet Rosalina the #axolotl today. We have been looking after her, learning lots of facts about axolotls, and looked at photos of how she has grown from a tiny egg. Rosalina is just one of life's amazing creatures to be found down by the water.

Sunshine: We had a wonderful time learning all about swim safety with Abbie and Esme from The Little Swim Club! They asked fantastic questions that got everyone involved, we were all so impressed by the children’s level of awareness from their own experiences in the water.

Sunshine: The Pre-School and Toddler teams have enhanced our garden areas with endless fun opportunities at the rockpools. The children found ways to collect colourful fish, being aware of their gentle actions while exploring them up close.

Sunshine: Gloopy water and soft sand welcomed the children to a world of messy fun! They grew curious as they discovered this sensory seaside, amazed at the textures and how they changed form.

Sunshine: Down by the water, the children discovered a world of frogs! Imaginations ran wild as logs became boats, leaves turned into islands and pebbles formed stepping stones leading their hopping friends to "Frog Swimming School"!

Sunshine: The children took part in a hide and find task as they used their hands to search the foamy sea for fish of all shapes and sizes!

Sunshine: Pre-School tested their balancing abilities while walking the narrow wooden plank! The lurking 'sharks' added excitement and encouraged them to be extra careful not to fall!
