The Employment Rights Act should not be enacted because it is ‘a safety blanket that saps dynamism from the economy [leaving] the Government’s economic agenda going backwards’ This damning assessment comes from Labour Together!!

Remember that #Xmas is a time for family - which can include the painful coffin-dodgers who may intrude on your peace and serenity - such as this bloke polluting a gathering in #London, December 20th 1795 #HappyChristmas

Labour is recklessly ballooning the public service and welfare state to the detriment of all forms of business creativity and achievement.
Labour is ending the Conservative Party’s callous cuts to local government. We are putting more money into cleaner streets, thriving high streets, libraries and roads. That is the difference a Labour Government makes.

Another nail in the coffin of aspiration and entrepreneurialism from this anti-business regime
BREAKING: Labour's landmark Employment Rights Bill has PASSED both Houses of Parliament. The new rights in this Bill will be transformational, putting power back into the hands of working people. This is a massive step forward in delivering Labour's New Deal for Working People

This aged well
The Chancellor’s speech this morning was an attempt to reassure the markets. If she’d been managing the economy well, there’d be no need for reassurance. But it didn’t work. She’s instead sent the FTSE 100 tumbling. The hole is getting deeper @RachelReevesMP

On behalf of my late Dad, I’d like to thank Dave Faldo (now aged 76) for being so decent about his car being accidentally re-roofed.

Sick of the selfish firework morons who continue to pollute and disturb
Don't mean to be a killjoy but this is 2020! How can we justify the continued use of fireworks, which pollute the environment, affect wildlife, cause injury and can be dangerous weapons in the hands of unsupervised morons #banfireworks

Bit disappointed that only two of the tree fellers who committed this crime have been brought to justice
⚖️ Two men who cut down the famous ‘Sycamore Gap’ tree and damaged a section of Hadrian’s Wall have been jailed today at Newcastle Crown Court. Daniel Graham and Adam Carruthers were both previously convicted of criminal damage in September 2023.
