Pretty certain this record was not a ‘Tha Carter III’ leaked track. Especially given the sound; however, since we are still on the #NoSubstanceTour, this may be one of the greatest motivation/hustle/work ethic songs originally inspired by the Summer Olympic Games (2008).
What ended up being Tha Carter III was a consequence of Wayne’s enormous popularity at the time which corresponded with multiple leaked records that were slated for the initial album. The records for the original album were much better than what ended up being the final product.

I disagree wholeheartedly with B (A as well but that’s a different conversation). Wayne didn’t elevate the Hip Hop on his shoulders. He did well for himself and had a strong following but I’m comfortable saying rap would be just fine without Wayne.
