If they want to get away with this and not have it be a dumb and desperate gimmick, they need to double down and have Billie do a full season as a proper incarnation of the Doctor. Too soon after Tennant came back to just do a special or three, it has to be substantial!
At this point I’m down for Billie as the doctor and a series with her or some extended universe comics etc
