Roseann was truly one of the great public servants -- and a genuinely terrific person. I'm grateful to have known her.
Roseann Knauer Bentley, an education advocate and the first woman from southwest Missouri elected to the state Senate, died July 14. She was 89. @JRehwaldSGF has an obituary for Bentley, who spent more than five decades in public service. Read it:
