NAPLES AND ROME TRIP: 🏺 . Students have visited Pompeii and climbed the cone of Mount Vesuvius. Then they visited Rome at the Ara Pacis, Augustus' altar. They also saw his mausoleum and Res Gestae. Their next steps are visiting The Colosseum and Forum!

NAPLES AND ROME TRIP: 🏺 . As the students’ trip to Naples and Rome continues, yesterday they had the incredible opportunity to visit the ancient Roman town of Herculaneum. Buried in 79 CE by a devastating pyroclastic flow from the eruption of Mount Vesuvius.

NAPLES AND ROME TRIP: 🏺 . Students who were headed out on the Naples and Rome trip this week have had a very long day yesterday with flights and sunshine; having their first visit to a Roman villa at Sam Marco Stabia. This morning they climbed the volcano Monte Nuovo.

INDIA TRIP: ✈️ . Over the weekend, during their lunch stop students got dressed in Rajhastani style scarves and turbans. Then with a night visiting Dausa, exploring local villages via jeeps, trying local pottery skills and helping at a local plantation drive.

INDIA TRIP: ✈️ . Some more pictures of our students on their adventures in India. They visited Agra Fort as part of their visit, however accompanied by a monsoon! Along with this, lots of students got involved in the the cultural practice of henna.

HISTORY TOUR:🏛️ . Year 12 History students took part in a walking tour of Durham as well as a very informative session on Tudor sources courtesy of @durham_uni. Students were taught Palaeography skills and are now rather good at reading Late Medieval and Early Modern handwriting!
