If a state school with these amazing ex pupils cannot see the value of music education, what hope is there? Deeply saddening.

Backstage at a concert in 2015 at my children’s school -Trinity in Nottingham. Now plans to drastically cut music and creative arts from this wonderful state school. Protest strike on Wednesday and Thursday this week. Where will the future of music come from?

Very very disappointed about the result for @ThangamDebb - hope she’ll be back in Parliament when there’s a by-election. Labour have lost what would have been a great Culture Secretary.

In the comments section of the Mitsuko mic drop you find this predictable zombie clichĆ©. First, it wasn’t Thelonious Monk. Second, dancing about architecture would be amazing — isn’t architecture all about the dance of forms and lines?
