Serverless != embedded since an embedded RDBMS might be running a server in a separate thread. It would still be embedded but not serverless. Ditto "in-process".

What word do I substitute in place of "serverless" to describe SQLite, now that many people have come to believe that "serverless" means something different than "without a server"?.

Reports of an RCE vulnerability in SQLite are greatly exaggerated. Some clever gray-hats found a way to get RCE using maliciously crafted SQL. So, IF you allow random internet users to run arbitrary SQL on your system, you should upgrade. Otherwise, you are not at risk.

Upgraded Ubuntu. GCC goes from 4.8.4 to 5.4.0. That change makes SQLite grow 2.16% larger and run 1.08% slower. Bummer.
