1/.How can I put this?."Expected utility maximizers don't maximize utility.". Why? Because utility is not usually an ergodic quantity in the mathematical models used by economists, and maximizing its expected value doesn't mean much in the real world.

What’s it about? It’s about building & testing probabilistic models of cognition that can be used to explain both behavioral & neural data. We'll dive into the principles of practices of cognitive modelling using a mixture of lectures, hands-on, intuitive, and interactive methods.

4/ 🔍 The findings suggest that LID causes complex changes in motor execution and control networks. Still, most sample sizes were small, and the studies lacked replication.

3/ ⚡ TMS studies found increased cortical excitability and blunted plasticity in LID patients. Repetitive "inhibitory" TMS to prefrontal motor areas and cerebellum showed transient anti-dyskinetic effects.

2/ 🧑‍🔬 Patients with LID have increased motor-related activation and functional connectivity in motor and premotor areas and the putamen after levodopa intake. However, there is decreased activation in the right inferior frontal cortex compared to patients without LID.
