5. The criminal court is now dealing with the application by the accused MDC officials for referral of the case to the Constitutional Court on the basis of selective application of the law. We can't accept confiscation of our land.

4. While the MDC was awaiting the court hearing on the unfair confiscation of its land, the State has initiated prosecution of the MDC and its officials for dealing with the land at a time that it was unaware of Minister Chombo's directive.

3. Under case number HCH 3094/24 the MDC challenged the Ministerial directive as being not in accordance with fair administrative justice. Although the Minister did not oppose the application it is awaiting a date of hearing in the High Court.

2. Ignorant of the canellation the MDC continued making its payments which council accepted for 11 years. Council only advised the MDC of the cancellation of its lease in 2024, which was 11 years after the fact. We found this unacceptable.

1. In 2011, the MDC was allocated land at Freedom Square on a rent to buy basis by the Harare City Council. Latter on former Minister Chombo went on to unilaterally and clandestinly cancel the lease without advising the MDC.

The 2030 Agenda has become a destructive and distractive part of Zimbabwe's national discourse. It is acrimonious & does not enjoy the support of the masses across the political divide. Its most avid proponents are trying very hard to avoid the referendums!
