@DesignationSix @CBSMoneyWatch Meanwhile Roosevelt did well w/Keynesian policies of deficit spending on labor-intensive infrastructure projects to stimulate employment & stabilize wages during economic downturns. They raised taxes to cool the economy & prevent inflation during abundant demand-side growth.

@BettyBowers How could Jesusᵍᵒᵈ not know about the Americas? A pair of whole continents in the middle of the shortcut to India where Europeans could act out their genocidal prejudices is the great plot twist of c16 history. Cruel not to caution is in the Sermon on the Mount.

@lanechanged I have a theory that when GOP are little shavers at college they smoke too much Ayn Rand & it fucks their brains up real bad. Symptoms include: malignant narcissism, abject lack of empathy, extensive belief in paranoid fictions, denial of *everything*, manic schadenfreude.

So the false tuna allegations gave me a craving for a 12-inch tuna @SUBWAY, which is on its way via a delivery service. The first three locations I tried to order from were either temporarily or permanently closed. My heart bleeds for the food industry, hard hit by the virus.😟
