…the concern. With the recent changes in resuscitation guidelines, the nearest M-CPR device being up to 50miles away and no HEMS/APCC overnight for senior clinical advice, more patients transported under CPR long distances will be a risk to crew safety and reduce CPR quality 2/2

I see the AHA recommendation of removing M-CPR as a routine intervention is going down as expected. As someone living in a country where the nearest hospital can be at least 40mins away, and the option of access to an M-CPR device being slim to none, I can understand….. 1/2

Seen this on Fb. I’ve read several articles stating no difference in outcomes between traditional and mechanical CPR. However some situations require patients to be transported whilst undergoing CPR. Use of an M-CPR device would reduce risk to crews whilst vehicles are moving.

Rest in peace, Patricia Routledge 🙏🏻 In memory of her, I encourage everyone to read these words of hers from February last year. Whether young or old, you're bound to get something out of it. ***** "I’ll be turning 95 this coming Monday. In my younger years, I was often

I was able to attend the ceremony unveiling these two plaques at Ballymoney Fire Station. I believe this is the first Green Plaque for an Ambulance Service line of duty death in the UK. The Fire Brigades Union is currently campaigning to display Red Plaques throughout the UK.

Today is Emergency Services Day (#999Day) Thank you to the 2 million people who work and volunteer across the NHS and emergency services. From the 250,000 first responders to those in roles behind the scenes, we are indebted to you for your sacrifices, courage and compassion.

A must read HCPs, never heard of VLS, Vulval Cancer or VIN, yet I had all three, still have VLS & VIN. Initially treated as thrush because I had to describe my symptoms over a phone, meaning I received the wrong treatment for 8months, you only get check-ups if you ask for one! ☹️

Always supported AANI, two years ago began volunteering as a fundraiser for the charity. Tonight started learning how to be a future Community Ambassador, couldn’t resist getting a pic. Didn’t realise it, but it was 6 years to the day when I was first there as a Student EMT

Wow, this looks like a great idea, not every new mum will have a support network and hopefully every new mum, even those who are nervous, will be able to avail of this service, create new friends and maybe even friendships between the babies as they get older.
Little Sunshines is a place where lifelong friendships begin ❤️ ☀️ Our 4 week parenting group in Bangor is a safe and welcoming space where mums can connect, share & learn. From baby massage to first aid & mental health, it’s about building confidence, community & connection🌈

Wow. Amazing. And he took Herdy with him, brilliant.
As our Class of 2025 graduates take their next step, 2024 alumnus Bin Sun has taken Herdy-our unofficial mascot-to the South Pole, symbolising the adventures that lie ahead. FULL STORY: https://t.co/XOQLb4wKLT 🎥 Bin Sun/Summit Experience @Herdy_UK #WeAreCumbria

Great opportunity to join NIAS. A brilliant wee job and if you are wanting to try for other roles in NIAS this is a great place to start.

I’m a sucker for a plush toy. Enjoyed receiving this as much as I did attending the graduation ceremony. Take note other Uni.s lol.

Made it. I missed my graduation ceremony with my @NIAS999 colleagues due to illness. So determined to attend this one and for my mum to accompany me. I’m proud of her, she fought the biggest battle of her life, and she is proud of me. BSc (Hons) Paramedic Practice Development!
