#LUFC Schmidt and his entourage were on this commercial flight this AM ➡️ Scum Airport instead of LBA. It departed 3hrs late, so he probs arrived for medical 13:00 ish, hence possible delays! 🙏🙏🙏

Massive thank you to @UniofBradford @LifeSci_UoB for a fantastic Uni experience. From starting the MPharm in 2007, to completing a PGCert, and now all the way to PhD in 2022. its been a blast, and the education and experience has set me up for a career I can be proud of 👏 (5/9).

With some nerves, I ended up drinking all the water provided to me in the viva, needing the loo throughout. None of the viva prep books advise to chill out with the water intake, so I will be recommending this to all future PhD students awaiting viva 🤣🚽 (4/9).

Thank you to my examiners @jon_silcock, Dr Douglas Steinke, and @MaiShehaly for a fantastic viva! I was put through my paces, but was incredibly fulfilling. Dr Steinke standing up, shaking my hand, and welcoming me to the Dr club at the end was a particular highlight! (3/9) 🤝🧑‍🎓.

Staying true to myself, I could not put my message across within the twitter word limit, and will require a twitter thread! Only because I couldn't have achieved this alone, and have have many people to thank! 🤣 You only do one PhD though right?? (2/9).

Twitter! It's been a while! Just wanted to say that back in May, I successfully defended my thesis in my viva, & yesterday was awarded my PhD after some minor corrections. Still can't believe I have done it, and achieved this goal I set some time ago! #PhDone #phdchat 🙏🔥(1/9).
