The David Thomas Memorial was won by Pearl Bandit for the Macdonald/Gluyas stable. An emotional moment for part owner Leon Macdonald who owns the house along with SAROA member Richard Angove amongst others. Jockey Jason Holder also paid his respects crossing the finish line.
