Stars win 5-4 in a shootout! Jason Robertson and Mikko Rantanen score goals in the shootout for Dallas, while Jake Oettinger stops Victor Olofsson and Nathan MacKinnon. Val Nichushkin scored the lone shootout goal for Colorado. Great start the regular season.

This has been a fabulously entertaining hockey game. So much so, the players decided to give us bonus hockey! Off we go to overtime, tied at four.
