I think MCing in the past always was challenged by WHAT EVER THE DJ tossed at the MC to RAP on. Bars without beats is poetry even aCapella which is dope but it ain’t RAPPING … where you had to spit and match what the DJ cut. You couldn’t pick your own beat .. you had to be ready

This album is flawless. It was incredible watching it be created. I’m lucky to contribute some cuts. Fun fact: The studio, 78/88 in Queens was connected to the bar, Neir’s Tavern, where they filmed the Xmas party in Goodfellas!!! Classic album and location! 💎🎧🎤📈
