A lot of these newer djs have full on careers in other markets and treat djing as a hobby, which is fine, but when these big brands reach out, y’all NEED to know what you should be charging. The undercutting is detrimental to full time djs.

The more over saturated the DJ game gets the less these brands are willing to pay us for our services. I’ve noticed a huge difference in the past 5 years. Some new djs (not all) are willing to take pennies just for a look or to appear lit.
