It was great to catch up with @AndrewRangerMP for Wrexham, a former Hospitality industry professional, at Welsh Labour Conference and to celebrate some delicious local product.

Fantastic to attend an event with @NFUCymru today in the Senedd as part of Welsh Farming Week. We also heard about the launch of their manifesto for the 2026 Senedd Elections, titled 'Growing Forward'. Farmers and farming communities are essential for our Welsh Economy.

Thank you to @RhodaGrant for sponsoring our Scottish Parliamentary Reception last night and to the Deputy First Minister - @_KateForbes who spoke at the event. We discussed some of the ways we can all work together to support the future growth of food and drink manufacturing.

Our Executive Director, David Chapman, spoke on behalf of Food 7 Cymru at the @Plaid_Cymru Spring conference business reception. He emphasised the need for greater gov't support for the food, drink and accommodation sector and elevation of the sector in the economy portfolio.

It’s great to see the UK has joined CPTPP, and we’re excited about the impact it will have on UK food & drink manufacturers! It will bring opportunities such as new market access to Malaysia, reduced tariffs across several international markets, and simpler customs procedures.
