Institutions affect growth through entrepreneurship, as shown in the figure from Bjørnskov and Foss (2016). The 2024 Nobel Prize to Acemoglu, Johnson, and Robinson recognized their work corresponding to arrow 4. The 2025 Prize to Mokyr, Aghion, and Howitt was for arrow 3. (1/2)
