Meth continues to pose a threat to our communities and constitutes a large part of the total weight of narcotics seized by CBP. During FY21, the Laredo Field Office has seized over 17,500 pounds of meth, representing over 19% of the total meth seized by CBP year-to-date.
CBP agents and officers have seized more than 91,000lbs of methamphetamine during the first 6 months of FY21, a 16% increase over the same time period last year.
