I'm one of the signatories because I believe that freedom of opinion is indispensable for academic research. What concerns me is a large number of anonymous signatures-a clear sign that colleagues are afraid of the consequences if they express their views freely.
Ukrainian media started smearing the signatories of our letter in defense of @HavryshkoMarta, including some of the world-known scholars of Ukrainian history, nationalism, and Holocaust. /1

Zgrožen sam rasističkim i otvoreno antisemitističkim uvredama na račun Marko Đurića. Isti oni koji tvrde da se bore protiv „fašističkog režima“ koriste najgore rasističke stereotipe iz repertoara Drugog Rajha. Da li je, kao i tada, ponovo postalo opasno biti Jevrejin u Srbiji?.
