Could’ve given up and lost by 30. Instead fought back and brought it down to the final seconds on the road against a very good team. I think we’ll be just fine.

I seem to remember someone saying years ago that they’d trade our top 10 baseball program for a top 10 football program. I didn’t think anything of it at the time but now it seems awfully suspicious.

Rhoades on Texas Tech: "We think their front seven is as good as any in the country." Offense held them back from top 5.

Texas Tech's defense is back at No. 1 in the stop rate standings. Wrote about the Heisman case for Jacob Rodriguez. Per ESPN Research, no other FBS player has put up 90+ tackles, 7 forced fumbles and 3 INTs in a single season over the past 20 years.

My hate list has effectively doubled since Tech became a football contender. “With great power comes many haters” or whatever Uncle Ben said.

Regular season is fighting for positioning in the playoffs. The better you performed, the easier your path to the trophy will be. Playoffs are for pitting the best teams against each other. For entertainment, yes, but also to ensure nobody can hide behind an easy schedule.
I’m ngl guys I don’t understand play offs. Whats the point in doing the work all season? The person who finishes first should win. This is nonsense

My take on it: 1. Leavitt and Tyson are NFL players. 2. ASU defense is built to stop the run, which put a lot of weight on true freshman Hammond’s shoulders. 3. ASU was in desperation/revenge mode after getting blown out the week prior. It was a perfect storm. Credit to ASU.
