At DCSA we believe in preparing our students for future success, including teaching ethics. This is a perfect example of the direction we are heading toward. It did my heart good to get this email today. This is what our purpose is all about. #DCSAUnitedForward

This is Demahn - each day on our You Tube Live announcements we have a word of the day and challenge students to use it in a sentence. Today’s word was diegesis. He was excited to share what he learned. I am proud of him & proud of our DCSA family. Subscribe to our channel to see

DCSA is working hard to expose our students to as much as possible to prepare them for future success. Our message to them is simple - you have so much potential, go get it. This bulletin board models the message - simple yet convincing. #DCSAUnitedForward.

This is Ayah. She is a fully mobile student, and came in to get her prize for being a winner in the Nearpod STEAM careers challenge. At DCSA we believe in teaching and emphasizing Science at all grades to prepare them for future success. #DCSAUnitedForward

For World Kindness Month, Deziyha brought me a special gift to brighten my day. She is an example of my purpose and what drives me, every day, to help make DCSA a better place for everyone

What a great text to get yesterday. 6th grade led their first community service effort with "Coats for a Cause" and delivered to the Family Promise of Jacksonville team. A partnership is now in place with them for future drives. The pride I feel for DCSA is beyond immeasurable

Our teachers committed to sharing their “why” on their bulletin board this year. It’s been special to see what leading students mean to them. Great example in our primary hallway.

A sense of pride this morning for DCSA - One of the middle school community service projects is providing chili for the homeless during the month of December. To garner more attention to the cause Mrs. Tyler met cars at arrival this morning with a flyer asking for donations.

Proud of our students with their focus on community service. I feel strongly we are truly developing students for future success by focusing on ethics, leadership, citizenship, academics and 21st century skills. It's rewarding because it's not a poster, it's our purpose.

Veteran's Day celebration is coming at DCSA next Tuesday, November 10th. We are looking for pictures of loved ones who are serving or has served. I look forward to our students learning and showing appreciation for the service of our armed forces. #DCSAUnitedForward

Our You Tube Live announcements did my heart good today. The range of Ms. Frederick recognizing veterans, a community service project by 7th grade to feed homeless chili for the holidays and Devin leading a project to have students fill out grateful cards for our teachers!
