Finished the most successful hoops camp in DCA history last week, as over 40 children learned fundamentals and heard the gospel! Special thanks to Coach Berry, Coach Domidion and the awesome Warriors boys and girls players for their help and leadership throughout the camp!

We just learned that a very special young man and great athlete from our Region has passed away. Our prayers are with the young man's family and Wayne County school community. May the LORD comfort you and draw you near to Himself during this tough time. 🙏.

Great observations. Ateny has shown outstanding quickness and mobility on defense and running the floor in transition. Watch for him to be a conference defensive player of the year in a couple of years for some lucky college program.
2026 F/C 6’10 Geu Ateny has been a strong defensive rebounder and presence inside. Good instincts on help defense and recovers fast on PnRs when he shows. @NxtProHoops @GPPbasketball.

Enjoyed watching these two Kentucky Junior All-Stars battle in Texas. DCA's Leek Ateny and Frederick Douglass' Demarcus Surratt both played excellent games in their showdown in Texas. Leek and Demarcus should be key pieces to next year's Kentucky All-Star team.

Geu Leek Ateny gets better every time I watch him. The 6’10 forward is able to protect the rim effectively, utilizing an eye catching vertical at times. It is obvious that the development is happening rapidly, very high ceiling for the 2026 big man. @GPPbasketball @NxtProHoops
