Today was a bad day overall so now I dont want to go back down and get them i just want to put on my pajamas and be sad.

I'm soaked from trying to move five used-to-be paper bags of groceries four feet into the door so I could get out of the rain. They literally disintegrated. My eggs and some dinner stuff for the week are still downstairs because I had to figure out how to get to the 2nd floor.

There is a torrential downpour in NYC right now and the Amazon Fresh delivery guy beat me to my house by 20 minutes and put my paper bagged groceries on the porch. The front door of the building was unlocked and I had said as much in my delivery notes AND in a text.
