We received the DMCA takedown email just one day before the claim was filed,and at first,we mistook it for a scam due to its unprofessional appearance.After further investigation, we realized the nature of the claim and immediately started working with Valve to resolve the issue.

To clarify, the DMCA claim was made on the main menu music, which we legally own and created using samples from Splice.The claim seems based on the fact that both our track and the claimant’s share the same sample from Splice,which is permitted and commonly used by many creators.
