Is today a good day to talk about how Michael Moore offered the crew of ROGER AND ME deferred pay, and then when he sold the movie to Warner Brothers for millions, he didn't pay them a dime?
Feel like it's always a good day to talk about that.
P.S. I know he's donated money to charities. So has Cosby. So has Weinstein. A lot of douchebags who don't pay their bills make public displays of "good works".
Moore undermined Gore, he undermined Clinton. He's Mr. Both Parties Are The Same. Yet people still take him seriously.
Never forget: on the eve of the election, Michael Moore wanted you to vote for Ralph Nader. I bet he's very concerned about the environment these days. And he thought Gore and Bush weren't much different.
@DAvallone
Didnβt know this ... but his politics has always made me suspicious of him.
His βboth parties are essentially the sameβ take is particularly egregious.
@MichaelonPorter
Aside from my pathological laziness (for which I apologize)... I think the way it stands, with others chiming in with links and stories, works best. I appreciate the interest, though.
@DAvallone
i'm no Michael Moore fan but there is ZERO proof of this. The R&M wiki also says as part of Warner's $3M deal, they had to pay the rent of those evicted in the film for 2 years. I can't locate any info on this. Not saying he isn't a dick, but also dicky to provide no proof.
@shanestites
I frankly don't care if you believe me or not. I'm not the one who stiffed my crew. See elsewhere my post about how he's given to charity: so have Weinstein and Cosby.
It's easy to google and find a half dozen examples of him being sued for not paying his bills. Go do that.
@DAvallone
He's the closest person I know of to a Glenn Beck on the left? Only loosely interested in facts, and never in all of them. Showing a picture of Soleimani describing as looking peaceful was the latest over the top claim I remember.
@DAvallone
Oh, wow! I did not know this. Granted, Iβve felt that Moore is a propagandist, and, sure, itβs nice when he puts the heat on those who deserve it...
Yikes, that is awful.
@DAvallone
Moore is awful and a typical bro. He didn't give credit to Hillary for being the first to visit Flint -- ya know, the hometown that gives him his so-called working class cred -- and discuss the water issue. It's never bad to remind us of this fact.
