2025 Internship Update! : We engaged our interns in practical presentation activity to help them do away with stage fright. Each student conducted a thorough research & prepared a PowerPoint presentation to share their findings as a means to improve their public speaking skill.

To evaluate the credibility and impact of our work under the project: Enhancing Indigenous Women's Roles in Natural Resource Governance For Peace and Security, we successfully hosted the Monitoring and Evaluation team from Women Peace and Security Consortium in Central Africa.

With funding from the #WPS in Central Africa Consortium, we conducted a training for indigenous women focused on conflict analysis, early warning systems, and peacebuilding strategies. Participants were empowered to identify potential conflicts and develop effective responses.

We empowered Indigenous Women to advance UN Resolution 1325 on Women, Peace, and Security. Discussions were centered on women's role in conflict resolution, focusing on participation, protection, prevention, relief, and recovery. Thanks to our founder the #WPS in WFC. @ALVF

With support from the Women, Peace and Security in Central Africa Consortium, we trained nearly 80 Indigenous women in conflict mediation and peacebuilding, enhancing their roles in promoting peace and strengthening community resilience while advancing UN Resolution 1325. @ALVF

We are marching on with our mentorship and coaching program to Indigenous women by enhancing their decision-making capacities. We remain thankful to our sponsor the #WPS in @CentralAfricaConsortium for the great support.

We provided mentorship & coaching to Indigenous women in governance roles, focusing on enhancing their decision-making skills. Through discussion sessions, we addressed challenges specific to their contexts, while building their confidence & leadership abilities. Thks to #WPSCAC

The dialogue session with local authorities, traditional leaders, and Indigenous women had a Drama which portrayed how scarcity and mismanagement of scarce natural resources can lead to conflict and how the involvement of women can help manage such conflicts. @ALVF
