Just wanted to thank everyone that’s purchased the rig so far, feedback so far has been very positive, and I’ve really loved seeing others work their magic with it. That said, I do know there’s a couple issues that need to be fixed, so I wanna use this post as a feedback hub.
In light of recent events. I'm saying screw it. The Modern Sonic rig that I (+ a few other artists) have been privately using is now available on my Ko-fi, as my first paid rig. A lot of time and effort has gone into making this, so I hope y'all enjoy.

- The center brow can now be moved left/right.- The teeth can now be hidden through the rig's UI.- misc. fixes. - Premium version only:. - a 3rd pair of custom designed shoes, named D-Hybrids. - new materials/lighting made to resemble official renders (although improved)

Version 1.3 of the Modern Sonic rig is up for download. There are now 2 versions - Lite ($3) and Premium ($15). Anyone who has bought the rig before will be able to download the Premium version without paying again. Premium: Lite:

Pretty simple collab that I worked with @TBSF_YT on - I posed and rendered Sonic with my rig, TBSF did the same for Tails with his new rig (using my lighting setup for consistency). He also put together the final image, with a bit of my input. Hope you all enjoy it 🙂

After much fiddling, this is probably what the final version of the Premium shaders will look like for normal Sonic. Still no ETA on release yet

I got a private message about this, but I’ll answer here too for everyone’s knowledge . The model can be used for mods. The actual skeleton of the rig isn’t compatible with game engines, but as a cleaned up Sonic model for mods, go ahead. Credit would still be greatly appreciated.

Say hello to my swanky new intro!. I honestly have no idea how much this will be used, but for any future YouTube showcases and other such uploads, this’ll now be the first thing you see . @SpookyNateXIII did a wonderful job crafting this, go check him out 👍

Update 1.2 for Modern Sonic is up 👍. The quoted issues below have now been fixed, anyone who's already purchased the rig should be able to re-download without paying again, either by going to their previous purchases on Ko-fi, or through their confirmation email
Known issues:. - Mouth position control doesn’t rotate lower teeth properly (fixed). - “Automatic Sonic Rotation” property for the spin ball is broken.
