The Spen Valley Greenway will be closed between Tesco at Cleckheaton and Knowler Hill, Liversedge from 9th June for 6 months whilst Kirklees and Sustrans work on widening and resurfacing. Full details from @KirkleesCouncil Full details ..

If their application is approved, Part 6 of the Traffic Management Act will allow Kirklees to use ANPR cameras to enforce driving offences like using bus lanes, banned turns, and prohibited vehicles. We support this change and think it will create safer streets for all users.

Leeds Road cycle lane between Deighton Road and Neptune Way will be closed from 19:00 30th May until 06:00 2nd June. Cycles are to use the main carriageway.
