#Cycle4haiti top tip #9: Consume the right amount of calories and food needed for your cycle. Carbohydrates help increase your energy levels, protein-rich foods improve your post-ride recovery and drinks containing glucose and fructose can improve performance and endurance.

#Cycle4haiti top tip #1: Maintain your bike properly – keep your brakes and chain in good working order, and your tyres well-inflated. Adjust seat height for an efficient and pain-free ride; when seated your leg should be almost straight, with your foot flat on the lower pedal.
