Just a reminder that @RepDaveJoyce's Appropriations subcommittee is still sitting on a bill with 230 co-sponsors (the ACP Extension Act) that would have prevented this. #netinclusion

Now that the Affordable Connectivity Program is dead, can we stop pretending the "bipartisan support" in Congress for funding it was ever real?

Ohio has now awarded $327 million in Residential Broadband Expansion Grants (ORBEG) for connecting rural homes. ORBEG rounds 3 and 4 will divvy up another $700+ million in Federal BEAD funds. Guess which ISP is getting the lion's share so far? #BroadbandOhio

With @ACP subsidies ended, Spectrum has apparently stopped offering its $30 "Internet 100" plan as well. 'Cause they care so much about keeping Internet affordable.

And... it's not happening. Commerce Committee markup of spectrum bill with #ACP $$ included is "postponed" for the third time. Chair @SenCantwell blames @SenTedCruz (h/t @JLPhillipsDC).
Showdown on @ACP in the Senate Commerce Committee tomorrow (Tuesday)! @SenCantwell @SenatorLujan @JDVance1 & most Dems (save it!) vs. @SenTedCruz @MarshaBlackburn & most GOPs (kill it!).

Here's my Congressman @RepDaveJoyce taking credit for the GOP's latest partisan attack on pro-consumer @FCC initiatives to preserve net neutrality and reduce digital redlining by big Internet providers... /1
🚨My Financial Services & General Gov't appropriations bill just passed the full committee & is headed to the House floor. As Chairman of the subcommittee, I worked to ensure this bill protects the integrity of our financial & judicial systems while cutting reckless spending.

There's much uncertainty about whether the @commercedems markup of the Spectrum and National Security Act (S-4207) happens tomorrow as planned. It's officially still on but I'm told talks aimed at reaching a deal are still happening. More from me:
@JLPhillipsDC @commercedems Canceled yet 🙄?

.@SenatorCantwell takes another shot next Wed at getting her spectrum bill with $$ for #ACP thru Senate Commerce. @SenatorLujan's ACP funding compromise bill with @JDVance1 and other GOP co-sponsors (S4317) could be the model. #SaveACP @netinclusion
