After waiting for like 6 hrs, just to get home and it started malfunctioning again😑. It was just a valid crash out. Nothing can be compared with new.

Day 17 #100DaysOfCybersecurity I was able to download and deploy Splunk Enterprise on my Kali machine today. I also installed the Boss of the SOC dataset (BOTSv3), which will serve as my logs for practice since I don't have other logs to forward yet... @jay_hunts

I also downloaded some add-ons to aid the setup. It was a lot of work getting it set up, but since it works, the stress paid off! I did some practice using the indexers and search to make findings in the dataset. I am also practicing with the CTF questions that came alongside it

I’ve done plenty of brute force log analysis, so I assumed this would follow the same trend. I was wrong. This was the first time I dug into Command Injection. It was completely different compared to spotting brute force noise. Definitely planning to do more. #BlueTeam
